Products & Materials

We primarily work with sandstone, limestone, slate, and quartzite — all extracted from our own quarries across Rajasthan. Jodhpur sandstone is our most popular export because of its warm honey and pink tones, but we also supply grey, buff, and multi-colour variants depending on the project. If you have a specific stone in mind that isn't listed on the website, drop us an enquiry — we have access to a much wider range than what's shown online.

Yes. Our sandstone and limestone paving has been installed in the UK, Canada, Germany, and Scandinavia — all climates with harsh winters. The stone is naturally low-absorbency, which means freeze-thaw damage is minimal when it's sealed properly. We recommend applying a good penetrating stone sealer before the first winter season. If you're in a particularly severe frost zone, ask us about our frost-resistance test data for the specific stone you're considering.

Absolutely — and we strongly encourage it. Natural stone varies from quarry to quarry and even batch to batch. We offer sample dispatch worldwide so you can check the colour, texture, and finish before committing to a large order. Samples are typically sent as small cut pieces (around 15×15 cm or 10×10 cm). Contact us via WhatsApp or the enquiry form and we'll arrange it.

Yes, many of our clients use the same stone both inside and out for a seamless flow between spaces. For interior floors we recommend a honed or sawn finish rather than the rougher riven surface, which gives a flatter, smoother result that's easier to maintain. Let us know your use case and we'll suggest the right finish and thickness.

Ordering & Pricing

The quickest way is through our enquiry form or WhatsApp. Share the stone type you want, the size (e.g. 600×300 mm, 900×600 mm, or custom), the finish (riven, honed, sawn), and the quantity in square metres. We'll come back with a landed-cost estimate including freight to your port. Quotes are usually turned around within 24–48 hours on working days.

For export orders, our practical minimum is around 5 cubic metres (roughly 50–80 sqm depending on thickness) to make the container shipment cost-effective for you. For smaller quantities — particularly if you're a landscape designer trialling a new stone — talk to us about grouping with another shipment going to your region, which sometimes works out well.

We accept T/T bank transfer, Letter of Credit (L/C), and PayPal for smaller orders. For first-time buyers, we typically work on a 30% advance with the balance before container loading. Once we have an established relationship, we're happy to discuss more flexible payment terms.

We can quote on whichever Incoterm suits you best — FOB Mundra/Nhava Sheva, CIF your destination port, or door-to-door if needed. Most of our regular buyers in the UK and EU prefer CIF quotes so there's one number to compare. Just let us know your preference and we'll match it.

Shipping & Delivery

We regularly ship to the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, the Netherlands, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, South Africa, and many more. Our global delivery network page has more detail. If your country isn't listed, that doesn't mean we can't ship — just ask. We work with freight forwarders who cover virtually every major port worldwide.

Transit time depends on the destination. To the UK it's typically 25–35 days sea freight. To the US East Coast around 28–40 days, and to Australia 30–45 days. Production and loading time before sailing is usually 15–25 working days depending on order size and whether the stone needs cutting to a custom size. We send you a full timeline when we confirm the order.

Slabs and paving are packed in wooden crates with foam padding between layers. Smaller tiles and cut pieces are typically banded on wooden pallets with protective corners. All crates are fumigated and come with phytosanitary certificates where required (important for Australia, New Zealand, and the US). Breakage in transit is rare, but if it does happen we ask for photos and arrange replacement or credit on the next order.

We're responsible for export documentation from India. Customs clearance at the destination port is normally handled by a local import agent on the buyer's side. We provide all the paperwork — commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin — to make that process smooth. If you need a recommendation for a clearing agent in your country, we can usually point you in the right direction.

Customisation

Yes — custom sizing is a big part of what we do. We have our own cutting and processing facility, so if a standard 600×300 or 900×600 mm slab doesn't fit your project, we can cut to virtually any dimension you need. Send us a cutting list (in mm or inches) and we'll quote accordingly. Lead time is slightly longer for custom cuts, but it's usually well worth it to avoid waste on site.

Yes, we offer a CAD mockup service for larger projects. If you share your site plan or architectural drawings, our team can produce a visual layout showing how the stone will look — including patterns, borders, and mixing of different sizes or colours. This is especially useful for complex inlay designs. There's no cost for this on confirmed orders above a certain value.

The most common finishes we supply are: riven (natural split surface, great for outdoor anti-slip paving), sawn (smooth saw-cut face, good for steps and pool surrounds), honed (ground to a matt smooth finish, popular for indoor flooring), and sandblasted (textured surface, good for driveways). Some stones are also available in a bush-hammered or flamed finish — ask if you need something specific.

Quality & Certifications

Yes. Our main export stones have been tested to relevant European and British standards, including slip resistance (PTV values), water absorption, and compressive strength. We can share test certificates on request. We're also compliant with Indian export regulations and hold the necessary trade licences. If you need documentation for a specific certification body in your country, let us know well in advance.

Colour consistency is one of the trickiest parts of working with natural stone. We quarry and store material in large batches to minimise variation within a single order. Before loading, our QC team does a visual sort and removes pieces that are noticeably off-tone. Even so, natural variation of 10–15% is normal and is actually part of what makes natural stone beautiful. For projects where tight consistency matters, we recommend requesting a pre-shipment photo or video of the batch.

Yes. We own and operate our quarries directly, which means we have full control over working conditions, wages, and environmental practices. We don't buy from third-party quarries with unknown supply chains. Our operations comply with Indian labour law, and we actively invest in the welfare of the local communities in our quarrying areas.

Stone Décor, Statues & Art

Yes, we do this all the time. Most of our clients send us a simple photo, a hand-drawn sketch, or a 3D model, and our carvers work from that. We typically start by selecting a block of sandstone or marble that matches the tone you want, then block out the main shape. We will send you photos at different stages of the carving process so you can request adjustments before the final details are locked in. Keep in mind that custom carving takes time — usually anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks depending on how detailed the piece is.

For outdoor pieces, we almost always recommend Rajasthan sandstone or marble. Sandstone is incredibly tough and handles weather beautifully — in fact, it often looks better as it ages and gets a natural patina. We also work with pink Jodhpur stone and beige Bansi Paharpur sandstone for traditional carvings. If you want a really clean, smooth look for a modern sculpture, white Makrana marble or green marble is a great option. We'll steer you away from softer stones that might erode or flake if they're left out in the rain and frost.

They are heavy. A life-sized garden ornament or figure can easily weigh anywhere from 150 kg to over a ton. Because of the weight and fragility of carved details, we pack them very carefully. Each statue is secured in a custom-built, heavy-duty wooden crate. We wrap the sculpture in thick foam and use wooden braces inside the crate so it cannot shift even a millimetre during transit. The crates are then loaded into the container using a forklift. For shipping, they're treated just like our paving slabs — they go by sea freight to your nearest port.

Yes, custom inlay panels and relief carvings are a specialty of ours. We do both traditional Mughal-style floral patterns using colored semi-precious stones set into marble, and modern geometric stone art panels. These are great for feature walls, lobby backdrops, or garden screens. You can share your design, or we can create a CAD layout for you to approve before we start cutting the stone.

It is actually a mix of both, depending on the project. For complex, fine-detailed statues and traditional ornaments, it is 100% hand-carved by local artisans here in Rajasthan who have been doing this for generations. For modern geometric sculptures or large architectural pieces where absolute precision is needed, we might use a CNC machine to rough out the block first, but the final texturing, detailing, and polishing are always finished by hand. We find this combination gives the best balance of speed and authentic craftsmanship.

Natural sandstone and marble won't fade because the colour is run all the way through the stone, not painted on. However, frost is the real enemy of outdoor stone art. If water gets into tiny cracks and freezes, it expands and can chip the stone. To prevent this, we make sure our carvings don't have deep, narrow crevices where water can pool. We also recommend applying a high-quality breathable stone sealer once a year before winter sets in. If you live in a place with heavy snow, covering the statue or moving it to a sheltered area during the coldest months is a good idea.

For smaller stone ornaments — say, under 30 or 40 kg — we can certainly arrange shipping via DHL or FedEx. It gets to you in a few days, but the shipping cost can sometimes be more than the price of the stone ornament itself. If you are ordering a larger batch of stone paving or tiles, the smartest way is to place the statues inside the same container. That way, the freight cost for the statues is practically zero because you're already paying for the container space.

After-Sales & Support

Despite careful packing, occasional breakage in a container can happen. Our standard policy is: photograph the damage before unloading, note it on the delivery receipt, and send us the photos and packing list within 7 days of delivery. We'll assess and either replace the damaged pieces in your next order or issue a credit note. We've never left a customer out of pocket for transit damage that was clearly out of their control.

We don't provide on-site installation outside India, but we do share detailed installation guidelines for every product — covering substrate preparation, mortar types, joint widths, sealing, and maintenance. If you're working with a landscaper or contractor who's new to natural stone, we're happy to answer their technical questions directly via email or WhatsApp.

Usually yes, but we recommend holding back a few spare pieces from the original delivery as a colour reference. Quarry batches change over time — it's the nature of stone. We keep notes on each client's orders, so when you come back to us we can compare what's available and show you a sample if you're unsure before committing to a reorder.
